1 – Easy English For Youth ! / Erasmus + / KA2

The Project aims to produce an easy and effective language learning programme at the basic level which young people who want to learn language from all over the world. Participants who completed the education module within created system will be given a certificate with approved by our project partners organisations and universities which is valid across EU.The system which will be constantly updated during 2 years term will be kept up to date even after the project and it will be become as the biggest online basic language learning platform of Turkey by enlarging the scope.In this respect, an online language learning  educational platform will be created that there will be no example with the same qualities in Turkey.During 2 years project term, 80 different online lesson modules in learning language area will be produced.By this an opportunity to have online language education will be given 30.000 people. At the same these individuals will be able to communicate with each other, learning by speaking with native speakers and educators through this system.During 2 years project term it will be provided that 20 from EU countries and 40 from Turkey different academicians, experts and educators make up an online education module through the system.

Our project discusses subjects such as encouraging entrepreneurship as a result to youth unemployment which is one of the priorities of Erasmus+, participation of the youth, innovation, inclusion, reaching to the disadvantaged. Further, it intersects with priorities of KA2 in many subjects such as improving innovative education methods, developing strategic partnership with private sector and civil society, encouraging innovative entrepreneurship, using ICT-based technologies and creating resources for open education.

In the 21st century, supporting qualified enterprise and entrepreneurs which is accepted as the first choice at sustainable development of all countries in the world by states is also one the most important goals among our goals for development in  at 2020 EU’s 2020 Strategy (75% employment rate target). In Turkey the rates of entrepreneurship are much lower than targeted levels, especially when compared to developed countries. While rates of entrepreneurship are at levels of 11-1 %, they are at 4,6 % in our country.

Project of International Network for Innovative Entrepreneurship, based on these issues, in a coordination with Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, aim to create network for international entrepreneurship for the youth for the first time in Turkey by bringing institutions experienced in international entrepreneurship together. This network will support the youth and start-ups the youth creates particularly in the subject of technological entrepreneurship, it will provide them to create a difference and contribute worldwide, especially to youth unemployment being at first, to competitiveness, innovation and sustainable development.

1 – “DESO Music Career Development Center” Strategic Partnership Project

The project “DESO MUSIC CAREER DEVELOPMENT CENTER”, which is prepared based on this issue, aims to produce a career development programme which young people who want to make a career in music in this field become aware of national and international employment and entrepreneurial opportunities in this field, which they can improve their skills, which musician young people and experts from different countries exchange ideas and which can help to create career plans. This programme will be carried out with international participation in Deso Music Career Development Center and it will be the first in Europe. In summits which will be held in the scope of popularization of the project, which will be carried out in partnership with different countries of the EU universities, civil society and private sector representatives, DESO will organize 2 different concerts and also participate in workshops.

2 – Disadvantages Youth’s Education Symphony Orchestra – “DESO+

Disadvantages Youth’s Education Symphony Orchestra – “DESO+” project to be roll out by the DESO-Dokuz Eylül University Symphony Orchestra which continues its activities as one of the most important Symphony Orchestra of the Turkey since 2001 within the body of the 9 Eylül University aims to contribute to the personal developments of the disadvantageous youngsters and have them gain a new vision for future by enhancing their participations to social life with music. While doing so, the objective is to enhance active citizenship, promote social entrepreneurship, enable overcoming the prejudices between the cultures and contribute social development by spreading the inclusive effect of the music between the youngsters. In the scope of this orchestra, ” Basic Music Capabilities Experience” training module will be produced which will be applied in 2 weeks by using unique and the common training methods and innovative music teaching techniques. (Under the leadership of experts) This module teaches youngster with core music information within 2 weeks and 100 hours and enable them to experience a simple musical instrument in a basic manner.

This module will be applied as a pilot implementation in Izmir/Turkey for a term and in Madrid/Spain for a term for two weeks with the participation of the youngsters from different countries of the world.Besides, Desoplus.com (a website and application) will be developed for this training to be spread over the wide masses and this module can be applied in different regions of the world by following up the system.The youngsters who join the module will take stage with professional musicians from project partners at the end of the 2 weeks period and experience a concert that they will not forget for their life. At the last phase of the project, there will be held an internationally participated summit (in Izmir) called as “DESO+ and Successes of Youngsters” and innovative training module which is developed with the project will be introduced in this summit and at the same time all the youngsters who join the project will have an concert experience with professional musicians of partners and common country institutions.

Aim of the project is to create an online education platform which includes professional fields of Information Technologies for the sake of developing educational opportunities as reachable, flexible and eligible for everyone around the world. Universities, institutions, nongovernmental organizations and private corporations will be included from Turkey and Europe to the project that will necessitate a range of mobility and technical work. As a system of continuously updated and its content is expanded, fegep.org platform is answering on the subject of the need of access to qualified education which is the most important medium for the development of individuals and societies in our day. All training modules that will be presented as a source for the use of everyone will provide the right to have equal education for all segments of society.

3 – EQAVET System For Recognition, Validation and Certification of Solar Panel System Specialists / KA2 / Vocational Training

The main energy source of the Earth is the Sun. The energy quantity received from the Sun to the Earth in a day is about 15.000 times of the daily energy consumption. This number reveals the importance of solar energy for the Earth. European Renewable Energy Council[9] (EREC) has been a factor in the proposal that the EU should meet 20 % of its energy need by renewable energy resources as of 2020. At the end of 2012, 80 % of the total installed photovoltaic power in the world is in the EU.

The aim of our project is to create a certification system and innovative training program in terms of installation, testing and conceptualizing the project of “Photovotaic Batteries (solar panels) using ICT tools” in collaboration with international universities and private sector institutions experienced in this field in order to be applied in Clean Energy House (http://www.pau.edu.tr/tee/tr) within PAÜ. These program and system will include ECVET recognition of the learning outcomes and the application of a related innovative EQAVET system. Thanks to this program, students and occupational professionals will master on this subject also indivudals will be provided to gain qualification in this area where qualified personnel is so few if any and therefore where they are highly valuable. Also, conceptualization of solar panels, installation and testing will be standardized by creating a certification system in this respect and low efficiency caused by technical failures revealed in problem analysis, dangers of security of life and property, loss of time, and high cost will be prevented. It is among the aims of our project that the program is incorpareted as an elective course into our university and partner universities and along with that it is popularized as completely open source via the interactive internet portal that will be ceated. The target audience of our project is the students and occupational professionals of electric-electronic technician and engineering.

We will combine Istanbul Technical University’s (http://www.itu.edu.tr/en/homepage) extensive experience on technology with the institutions who have similar experiences in international field from USA and Sweden which are one of the most advanced countries on technologic innovation and entrepreneurship in the world. Also, we will develop an ecosystem to enable youngs to make difference on international scale by promoting them to technologic innovation. Turkey’s first Technology Innovation Center that targets youngs, CBI LAB ‘s facilities settled in ITU campus , will be used actively to support this concept. (CBI LAB : http://www.cbilab.org/en/ )

2 – “Future Now! – Paraplegic Young People Social Inclusion Programme”

“Future Now! – Technology Based Social Inclusion Center’’ which will be established thanks to this project, is nonesuch in Europe

Two different innovative and unique pilot schemes will be created for people with spinal cord injuries at first, then we will generate feedbacks within project, improve the schemes and implment them in a sustainable way.

3 – Virtual Reality Based Home Strength Training Programme for SCI -“VR PRO SCI”

Virtual Reality(VR) will play a crucial role as a tool that we are going to use actively to contribute in the center’s studies. As coordinator institution,ITU has expert staff and the most advanced equipments about VR in Turkey. VR is a brand new technology worldwide but it has remarkable impacts on treatment of people with spinal cord injuries already.(e.g: https://goo.gl/u0ms0X) (about VR: https://goo.gl/Gtn2wA, about CBI Innovation LAB in ITÜ: http://www.cbilab.org/en/)

VR PRO SCI: It is a software that conrtibutes to solve physical inactivity problem for  people with spinal cord have so that they can maintain a healthy life. The software will promote patients to proper and useful pyhsical activity and make it fun for them. This software is going to work with a VR glass. Examples with details;

Disabled person will download VR PRO SCI application/ software which is the pysical activity guide specially produced by experts. After that, s/he puts on VR glass and follow instructions in the guide.Suddenly s/he will find himself in a mountain and start practising climbing sport.The person needs to move his/her arms in accordance with instructions. In this way,the person will complete daily muscle exercises that s/he must do.(Special pyhsical activity moves will be designated for each programme created with 3D modelling)

4 – Specialized Non-formal Training Programme for People with spinal cord injuries. A non-formal social inclusion programme will be created and implemented regularlyfor people with spinal cord injuries within project. This programme will keep step with VR PRO SCI programme and it is such as to support. Young disabled people who come together wtihin project will be encouraged to use non- formal methods suhc as; learning to learn, teamwork, cultural activities, learning by doing, brain storming, role playing and etc. so that they can rejoin active social life that they had to get away. This programme will be produced based onsurvey studies conducted with disabled people and  implementation will be led by two non- formal trainers from KIO who are accredited by Turkish NA with all partners’ active participation and support

1 – Reducing Energy Comsumption at Houses and Raising Awareness for Clean Energy Pendik Example Project

2 – Increasing Sector Focused Women Employment : Pendik Field Work

Thanks to Istanbul Development Agency’s support , coordinatorship of Bahçeşehir University and Pendik Municipality, District Governorship of Pendik, Istanbul Medeniyet University were among partner institutions. In the scope of ‘’Increasing Sector Focused Women Employment : Pendik Field Work’’ project, we provided applied trainings to 103 women on manager assistants positions for following topics;

IPEC is a vendor company of Microsoft. So we provide professional event organization services in this scope.We carried out ‘’Education Cloud Roadshow 2016 / Cloud Solutions on Education’’ event series with participation of hundreds of different institutions in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir.

We provided service in NGO Day (Non-Govermental Organizations Meeting Day) event for Microsoft Turkey within their Corporate Social Responsibility programme that aims to bring together NGOs they cooperate, 5th June 2015.

3 – “Design your future” Coordination Meeting Event

Habitat Development and Governance Association, Turkey Ministry of Development, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Microsoft Turkey jointly conducts ‘’Design Your Future’’ Social Responsibility Project in 81 cities of Turkey in order to make information easily accessible for people in 3 main focus points; education, entrepreneurship and employment. IPEC provided organization services in one of the events in Istanbul in this context.
